That was the day the world changed the day I found true happiness. I was in love. It started like any other day. I got up around 6:30 A.M. for school and got to school 2 minutes before class started. I walked into class and everyone was sitting in a new set. I took a seat by this kid I had never talked to. As soon as I sat down I saw his handwriting. Cursive. I asked him “Are you from Beulah?” I asked him this because all the kids from Beulah tend to write in cursive. He looked up at me with a questioning look. He said, “No I’m from loving Trinidad.” We both giggled. The class started passing really fast as we were making jokes all hour. The bell rang and we looked at each other one last time. As soon as I knew it the 3:30 bell rang. I was walking down the hall with my head down and bumped into someone. I looked up and it was him. He was about 6’3 so I had to really look up. He asked me if I needed a ride and I didn’t want to ride the bus so I told him “sure.” We get in the car and he asked me “Can I show you a really pretty place.” I took a second to think about it. I didn’t want to get kidnapped or r*ped. But he reassured me that non of that would happen. After about 20 minutes we were parked at the bottom of a hill. He grabbed our jackets and we started to hike. We hiked all the way up the hill. As soon as we got up there I looked around. It was perfect. The blue pink-ish sky and clouds all around. I turned to look at him and he was already looking at me. Next thing I knew his lips were on mine. From that day forward we went on trips 3 times a week. Making me fall more and more in love with him. I never knew talking to a kid about his handwriting would lead to my wedding. Till death do us part. Random guy charms in “You may now kiss the Bride.”
